The first episode of the Paramount+ shows School Spirits premiered on March 9, 2023. The show centers on Maddie, a high school student who died suddenly and now lives in purgatory. When I agreed to cover this series, I didn’t have high hopes. Not being familiar with Peyton List, I couldn’t say whether the show would be aimed primarily at adults or teenagers, or if it would be a mix of the two. But after finishing this series, I was a huge Lost fan and I can’t wait to read more of her books. Aside from List, I think the authors of this series deserve a lot of the credit for the suspense they’ve maintained throughout.
Do School Spirits Season 2 Have a Release Date?
Netflix has failed to set a premiere date for Season 2 of School Spirits, despite the show’s success. Fans eager for season two may be frustrated by the silence, but it’s not out of the ordinary for streaming providers to take their time determining whether or not to renew a show.
