Molly Morris Obituary, Death –  On Monday, October 9, 2023, in the early hours of the morning, 37-year-old Molly Michelle Morris died away in the Cedar Valley Hospice Home. On September 24, 1986, Molly Morris—the daughter of Dan and Juli (Krull) Morris—was born in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Dan and Juli are the names of her parents. She received her graduation from Cedar Falls High School and her Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources from Upper Iowa University.

Molly spent her professional life working with a wide range of people, including those in need of physical therapy, software engineers, and the elderly. She had a passion for life and all people.  Molly loved spending time with her friends, so her door was always open. She loved to host parties at her house, cook, plant, travel, spend time in nature, play crossword puzzles and trivia games, love the color orange, and find out what people’s favorite times of the day were.

How we will long to be with her, oh! Her independent spirit, coupled with her kindness, gentleness, and love, will always be cherished in our memories. The people who survive Molly are her parents, Dan and Juli, of Cedar Falls; her brother, Riley (Lauren) and his sons, Arlo and Odin; her sister, Claire Morris of Cedar Falls; her grandmother, Alvira Morris of Cedar Falls; her grandfather, Don Krull of Cedar Falls; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Her grandfather, Sid Morris, and grandmother, Betty Krull, all died before her. Her older sister, Meggy, also died before her. There will be a gathering to celebrate Molly’s life and legacy over the Christmas break. If you could take the time to plant a tree, or any other kind of plant, somewhere in the world, that would mean the world to our granola girl. Donations to Hope City Church, Cedar Valley Hospice, or a nonprofit that promotes equine-assisted rehabilitation are ways that people can honor Molly.
